Finding Confidence: Bed Funk Edition
Saturday Morning Blues
It’s Saturday morning, and normally I’d be out early—yoga, errands, maybe a fresh manicure, soaking up the sunshine. But today? Not so much.
I barely slept, my lower back feels like it’s auditioning for a Greek tragedy, and my bank account couldn’t buy me a latte. Oh, and it’s raining. Gloomy AF.
Meanwhile, my husband’s already out the door, calling to confirm we’re still going out tonight. Ugh.
The Urge to Cocoon
All I want is to curl up with a heating pad, binge Real Housewives, and eat my feelings. The leftover Kung Pao chicken in the fridge has been whispering my name all morning.
It’s only 11 a.m., and I’m already dreading tonight. Word’s out that I’m unemployed. My jeans don’t fit like they used to, and that whole walk-in-and-own-it sparkle? Feeling a little… dim.
The Confidence Struggle
I want to be productive. I want to shine.
But instead, I’m playing Candy Crush, doom-scrolling, and building an Amazon cart I’ll never check out. And none of it’s making me feel better.
Shaking Off the Funk
Disbih gotta get up. Enough heating pad. Enough pity party. Eyes on the prize.
I’ve got this.
