Peach Bruschetta with Lemon Ricotta (The Ultimate Summer Appetizer)
I’m enjoying every last minute of summer, and that means peaches. This peach bruschetta recipe with lemon ricotta was part of my ultimate backyard BBQ menu, and let me tell you, it was a showstopper.
For our Labor Day pool party, I wanted a menu that didn’t keep me stuck in the kitchen all day. Instead, I grabbed a few recipe links, ran them through Chatty G (my homegirl), and she gave me a full shopping list, prep times, grill tips, and recipes all in one neat PDF. I’ll be posting that download soon so you can get the Missyfied version too.
And yep, the peach bruschetta disappeared so fast I didn’t even get all the photos I wanted! Always the sign of a winning recipe.
Why Peach Bruschetta Works So Well
Last year, I made a peach and burrata board, delicious, but messy once people dug in. This year, I leveled up with individual peach crostini topped with ricotta and hot honey.
It was:
-
Easier to prep ahead of time ✔️
-
Much prettier on a white serving platter ✔️
-
Totally foolproof and Instagram-ready ✔️
The sweet peaches, tangy tomatoes, fresh basil, and creamy ricotta just work. It’s the perfect balance of sweet, savory, fresh, and a little indulgent.
Missyfied Recipe Upgrades
I took the base recipe from Delish and gave it my spin:
-
Fresh herbs from the garden: basil + sweet basil = more depth
-
Sugar Bomb tomatoes: sweet, crunchy, and perfect for summer
-
Lemon ricotta: zest + juice brighten up the cheese beautifully
-
Olive oil spray for crostini: way easier than drizzling and gives even coverage
