Procrastination Nation: A Four Hour Journey

There’s a girl on TikTok who does this series called How long it actually takes for things she’s been procrastinating on. Relatable, right? With all my downtime lately, I figured it was time to tackle one of those projects I’d been putting off forever… and my fridge was practically screaming for a makeover.

The Best Part: Ordering Organizers

Confession: when you have ADHD/ADD, you get high hopes about “getting organized.” For me, that means obsessively stockpiling clear lucite organizers. My husband rolls his eyes, but this time I finally put them to use.

The Bigger Picture

In between fridge cleans and book binges, I’ve applied for 31 jobs so far. It’s exhausting. I keep telling myself it’s late summer, so maybe companies aren’t hiring. But still, when you’re searching, and not being searched for, it’s rough.

This weekend, we’re hosting for Labor Day. I don’t technically labor… unless you count four hours of fridge cleaning as labor (I do).

One thing I know for sure: no matter where life takes me, I’ll keep giving it 100 percent. Sometimes the wins are small, but they matter. Even if it’s just a clean fridge. xo
