The Queen Bee & Crickets
Bethenny Frankel Moves to Boca Raton
Speaking of apples and RHONY, the queen bee herself, outrageously outspoken, opinionated (and yes, we’d all secretly love her confidence), Bethenny Frankel moved to South Florida. For us fangirls who live down here, it’s the talk of the town.
I’m not a stalker, but… she’s literally popping up at all my local favorites in Boca Raton and Delray Beach, and even the DMV down the street from my house. She even posted about respecting her time with her daughter if you see her out. Totally fair. After years in New York, I learned to hold back when spotting celebs on the street, especially the SVU cast.
Ok, fine. There was this one time I went up to Nick Lachey on a dare because I was hammered in some speakeasy in the Meatpacking District. I asked him if he wanted a picture with me. He was like, “Fine.” True story.
The Queen Bee Effect
As you may have noticed from my recent posts, I’m at a pivotal moment in life: unemployeed, navigating menopause, redefining what the second act looks like, and trying to channel some boss bih vibes.
And I keep telling myself: if I just met Bethenny Frankel, she’d have the answers. Life would click into place. I’d find clarity in my path.
But then I ask myself—what would be my top three questions?
Crickets. Zero.
The truth? Bethenny Frankel is her own brand. She’s honest, forthright, and has built her empire from scratch. There’s no step-by-step blueprint. She had willpower, spotted a gap in the market, and paired it with passion.
Brunch, Yoga, and SoFlo Bestie Dreams
Would I love to have brunch with her? Um, yeah.
Invite her to Yoga Joint? Mosdef.
Volunteer as her SoFlo bestie and sidekick? You betcha.
But admiration isn’t about copying and pasting someone else’s journey into your own. You can’t collate her experiences into a digital download, slap it on Etsy, and call it success. You have to create your own blueprint… right?
The One Question I’d Ask
Ok, maybe I do have one question:
“What advice would you give to an extremely talented marketing executive, who’s made millions for big companies over the last 25 years, is now navigating menopause, and ready to start her boss bih journey?”
